The farmhouse

Coed-y-Cwm Farm (its literal translation “Wooded Valley”) nestles in a quiet valley one and a half miles from the picturesque ‘Salmon Leap’ waterfalls at Cenarth. We are in one of the most beautiful parts of West Wales situated 7 miles from Cardigan and 3 miles from the little market town of Newcastle Emlyn.
We are a small traditional working farm with sheep, ponies and cattle. Many of the cattle are Dexters, the smallest British breed and until recently a rare breed. We have also recently become involved with an all-Wales Agri-Environmental scheme in which, over the next 10 years, we will work in partnership with the Countryside Council for Wales providing new and protecting old wildlife habitat.
